Estimating the parameters of complex-valued exponential signals

چکیده
Estimating the parameters of complex-valued exponential signals is a very well known problem in signal processing. Osborne (1975) proposed a new iterative algorithm to estimate the unknown parameters when they are real-valued. In this paper the idea has been generalized to the complex parameters case. Theoretical justification has been provided for the convergence of the iterative process.

Estimating E-Bayesian of Parameters of two parameter Exponential Distribution
In this study, E-Bayesian of parameters of two parameter exponential distribution under squared error loss function is obtained. The estimated and the efficiency of the proposed method has been compared with Bayesian estimator using Monte Carlo simulation.
متن کاملAn EM Algorithm for Estimating the Parameters of the Generalized Exponential Distribution under Unified Hybrid Censored Data
The unified hybrid censoring is a mixture of generalized Type-I and Type-II hybrid censoring schemes. This article presents the statistical inferences on Generalized Exponential Distribution parameters when the data are obtained from the unified hybrid censoring scheme. It is observed that the maximum likelihood estimators can not be derived in closed form. The EM algorithm for computing the ma...
متن کاملSequential estimation of linear combinations of the location and scale parameters in negative exponential distribution
Sequential estimation is used where the total sample size is not fix and the problem cannot solve with this fixed sample size. Sequentially estimating the mean in an exponential distribution (one and two parameter), is an important problem which has attracted attentions from authors over the years. These largely addressed an exponential distribution involving a single or two parameters. In t...
متن کاملThe evanescent field transform for estimating the parameters of homogeneous random fields with mixed spectral distributions
Parametric modeling and estimation of complex valued homogeneous random fields with mixed spectral distributions is a fundamental problem in two-dimensional (2-D) signal processing. The parametric model under consideration results from the 2-D Wold-type decomposition of the random field. The same model naturally arises as the physical model in problems of space-time adaptive processing of airbo...
متن کاملEstimation and statistical analysis for exponential polynomial signals
We derive and analyze a suboptimal algorithm for estimating the unknown parameters of an exponential polynomial signal (EPS) model. The EPS model represents a signal as an exponent raised to a complex polynomial of time. That is, the phase and the logarithm of the amplitude are approximated as finite-order polynomials of time.
